Over the Summer of 2022, I performed in a special production of Helen Slater's Ugly Duckling produced by Turbine Arts Collective. This unique retelling told the classic farmhouse fable of the ugly duckling through a real life lens, with the crux being that what made her "ugly" was her queer identity.
